My role is to make your transition to South Korea as easy as possible and make sure you start this adventure on the right foot.
I graduated from university and had no idea what I wanted to do next. All I knew is that I had a passion for travel and adventure. I had heard about people teaching English abroad and I really wanted to experience the South Asian culture. At the time, I had no resources or knowledge about how to get started.
After stumbling upon a job through a random online posting I found myself in Korea. Thankfully and luckily it was a great job. I found out later how fortunate I was. I heard countless stories of people ending up in terrible jobs and working conditions.
I have gathered the knowledge I gained and posted it here so that you too can end up with a positive experience and lifelong memories.
Since coming back to Canada, so many opportunities presented themselves to me both personally and professionally. I attribute this to life experiences gained by teaching and travelling in South Korea.
